Pastor Nimmons' first and foremost passion is young people. Being a young man himself, he has dedicated most of his life to the cause of young people. A graduate of Michigan State University with a Bachelor’s Degree in Political Science, Pastor Nimmons had aspirations of becoming an attorney. God had another plan and charged him with a much higher calling; and that was to become a life-long servant of God’s people.

Approaching his 3rd year as Youth Pastor of Greater Grace Temple, Pastor Nimmons has worked tirelessly in the vineyard seeking out souls for Christ. The Church Within A Church (CWC) Youth Ministry is the vehicle, which moves this objective forward.

Through monthly youth services, activities and events, CWC has become a shining example of what a youth ministry can be. In November of 2005, during the annual Youth Explosion, CWC launched its very own website, which features several of its sub-ministries, apparel line, a host of pictures and a fully interactive message board.

Pastor Nimmons is married to Tiffany Nimmons; his wife of two years, and father to a new son; Stephen-Michael Emmanuel Nimmons, born March 20th 2006. He credits his relationship with God and a strong support system of family and friends for his ALL of his success and unmerited favor. To date, the CWC Youth Ministry under the leadership of Pastor Michael Nimmons is growing in leaps and bounds. With the introduction of a new apparel line of clothing, a fully functional and interactive website, Illustrated Sermons, Shut-Ins, anointed and powerful worship services, monthly activities, and an appetite for more of God in everything that they do, CWC is poised to become the benchmark for youth ministries across the country and around the world.
